Pass the Chips please.

Oley!
Hola, mis amigas y amigos! Saturday Mark and I helped our good friend Pat get a car hauler from Lynchburg. She wanted to treat us to eat at the Olive Garden on Wards Road. I hardly ever go out there (too expensive), but she wanted to go. We had to wait close to an hour. Lots of prom youngsters were over there, in and out. Well, we finally got seated and lo and behold I just happen to look over at the table across from ours and a hispanic guy is over there and at first glance I didn't put two and two together. But I looked again, and yes, He looked like Erik Estrada. I tell Mark and Pat, that is Erik Estrada! Very discretely, mind you. We knew him from shows such as Chips, and the Cross and the Switchblade.  They didn't really know what I was talking about. So I look some more, and yes, it has to be him. Mark does a google and yes, it looks like him. So we ask our waitress and she said, yes, that's him, He comes in here all the time, so nonchalantly. So....do we ask for an autograph or what? I really don't want to bother him...And in my younger more bolder days, I probably would have...In any event, toward the end of the meal somebody else does end up getting their picture taken with him...So we find out that he is actually doing a film that's being shot at Liberty University, just down the street and is active deputy sherriff in Bedford County, mind you.  You can read the article here. Hasta Lavista mi amigos, and buenas noches!
