My brother used to own an antique shop a few years back & made great money selling things on eBay after he closed the shop. For the past year or two he says he can barely get a bid & make back the money he paid for an item in the first place let alone make a profit. I also had great success on eBay back in the late 90s/early 2000s. Stuff I sold back then for many dollars with bidders bidding against each other until the auctions closed, I tried selling the same stuff last year & got no bids at all. Add in the fees eBay charges for listing an item, fees when the item sells (you now have to pay fees on your shipping costs as well), & PayPal fees ... it's just not worth it. Just my opinion : )
