I hate to say that one of my kitties got hold to a sweet looking bird today...It had a yellow breast and gray feathers on top and the poor thing was laying upside down with feet in air and passed away this afternoon. I suspect it was Graylin...I don't know when it happened as I was gone most of the afternoon. That's the only thing I don't like about having cats...They get an occasional bird, which I do not approve of whatsoever...So just pray that they don't do it anytime soon...Mark saw a fox when he pulled in from work tonight...He hopes the cats will be okay tonight...My neighbor down the road saw a Bear near his house and now we call his wife Linda a "Bear Magnet" and keep our sticks handy...Such is country life..On a more positive note, my animal loving buddy Pat is in for the wkend from NY from helping her mom and we had a nice time driving to the orchards, seeing the mountains and visiting with friends. She misses VA she says and hopes to be back soon..Until next time..
