Fresh Milk and Farm Fresh Eggs...Delicious!
9:40 PMDrink Your Milk!
We have been getting raw milk from our church friends as many have their own cow. I just love it! It's great with cereal, the cream that forms on the top is great in coffee, the cats just love it, and you can even make your own butter! I got one of the ladies to show me how before my very eyes and it involved a lot of shaking and shaking in a glass jar...However, I've never been motivated enough to do it myself...I just happened upon an article on raw milk vs. regular from the store and found it insightful and interesting...So I thought I'd share it with you! Bottoms up!
Just Egggcelent!
I love fresh eggs and we have people at church with chickens too! We eat eggs just about every morning, anyway you can get them...Nice deep yellow yolks..Mark prefers to eat these raw when wanting a healthy pick me up in the morning...They make a milkshake nice and frothy...
6 oz. frozen orange juice concentrate
1 cup milk
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
8-9 ice cubes
1 cup milk
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
8-9 ice cubes
1. Combine all ingredients except ice cubes in blender.
2. Blend for about 1-2 minutes, adding ice cubes one at a time.
I know, that’s a lot of sugar, right? Yeah, no wonder it’s so good
Note: You can use powdered sugar to make the drink a bit creamier.
Such as..1/4 cup regular sugar and 1/4 powdered sugar
